TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, about the massacre of Christians and Christian communities in Nigeria:  "You are not being hunted and killed because you are EASY PREY, WEAK, AND HELPLESS. Truth be told, it's the other way round."

The Bible tells us the story of children of Israel in Egypt, something similar happened in Exodus 1:7,9 & 10.

Pharaoh said in Vs 9 that, "The Children of Israel are MORE and MIGHTIER than we." What inspired him to afflict God's people was FEAR, he was afraid of how they increased. He was afraid that they were mightier than them. Pharaoh saw something in them that they did not see. He saw them as more and mightier, he was scared and he acted on that fear to pull them down. He did not afflict, enslave and kill them because they were weak and helpless, or did he? Absolutely not! Rather, he did all those things to them because they were more and mightier than the whole of Egypt... That's profound!

There is something else I want us to take note of: God saw His people as fruitful, increasing abundantly, multiplying, exceeding mighty... Guess what? Pharaoh saw them the same way; more than the Egyptians and mightier than the Egyptians but God's people did not see themselves like so.

God's people in Nigeria, you are not being terrorised and killed because you are easy prey, weak and helpless, it's rather because they see what you don't see. You are strong, more than them, mightier than them. THEY ARE AFRAID OF WHO YOU ARE, AND WHO YOU CAN AND WILL BECOME.

All very interesting Bimbo. So how does this help us?

1. See yourself the way God sees you; you are more and mightier than them. You are not easy prey, you are not weak, you are not helpless.

2. Knowing who God has made you, stand in the authority invested in the Name of Jesus for your protection and victory. God will back you up!

God has never failed He won't start with you.

The Client

The client in question wanted a proposal for a Noodle factory. We'd earlier gone to take measurements of the site and presented him a sketchy proposal after which he asked for more proposals and research and gave some money for it. He said he'd be travelling to China around 20 something of this month so we were supposed to give him feedback before then. This led us to a race to beat time last week. As of Thursday we still had nothing on ground and were sweating our heads out to present something before the week ran out. Finally we put something together Friday evening. It was pretty past our working hours that my colleague's husband drove us to our client's office. Lo and behold, it was closed.
