You know those mornings when to get out of bed is a chore and you're wondering what's the point of living? Now there's a word to ignite the spark and put you on track! All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation,  1 Peter 1:3 NLT  Jesus rose from the dead and just because of that we have a reason to live with great expectations; to expect the best of life, to be hopeful, to look forward to what's in stock that day with eager anticipation, to be excited about what each morning brings, what wonders lie ahead! It's not Easter with little green shoots springing up the ground neither is it summer with the warm, enlightening sun. It's harmattan here, cloudy, dusty and dry and (supposedly worse still), winter in some places; cold and perhaps gloomy. Not-so-bright, broody weather all around but the truth still remains: Jesu

 I remember once telling a friend that, "I'm living in this moment the answers to past prayers; some I'd even forgotten I prayed until they began to unfold." When I'd prayed those prayers, it all seemed so bleak, like God wasn't even listening, like barking up the wrong wrong tree... somehow, I didn't stop. Today, it struck me again that yes, that's still my reality: enjoying the manifestation of seeds of prayers past sown. Prayer works in the moment but one other sweet aspect of it is how it goes ahead, beyond the barrier of time to sort things out in the future.  Your experiences today are fruits of the seeds of prayer sown yesterday. Don't stop sowing those seeds, don't stop praying! This is my reality: pathways in the wilderness and rivers through dry lands! I won't like the faithless say "... this is too good to last long." Rather, I'll confess all my days, "God is faithful to Vie!", "The Word is working fo

But marriage is not the destination It's not the final bus stop It's not the full stop Why do we make all our plans around marriage? (At least most do.) "When I get married this, when I get married that..." is what takes up 90% of future aspirations. I'm not married I wish to get married I'm not downplaying marriage But I think we make it too much of the issue sometimes Life involves so much more apart from marriage Life entails a myriad of things beyond marriage The marital decision is one of the most important you'll ever make but, does your life completely revolve around fantasies of marriage before marriage?  I fantasize about being on the world's stage (Oh! With my very supportive spouse there with me or cheering me from the bleachers) I fantasize about the impact I'll make such that my name will be a household name in certain spheres I fantasize about how I'll be an authority and display excellent thought leadership on pertinent issues in

 Green, lush, tranquil? There may be chaos Somewhere on the horizon Just at the edge of reason But... The past one month has been like many lifetimes compressed into one and things just got started! I could cry that it's overwhelming but I know it's where I'm meant to be. Many pieces are still coming together but the landscape is positively beyond promising; the fruit of contentment just within reach. Yesterday's version of me would have been a bit doubtful if it can get bigger or more different than this but today's version has got an inkling of the idea that this is just the tip of the iceberg. There's so much more! This vast and diverse life Abba has gifted, I'll drink of it fully. To think that I once lived under the illusion that my entire being was tied to a person, place, profession …. mundane things! Now, I've chosen to be tied to purpose alone! Bold claim, yeah? Dear Believer in Christ, hearing God should be your default lifestyle and thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.  Isaiah 30:21 KJV  Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left.  Isaiah 30:21 NLT  When Christ walked the earth it was evident He had a vibrant relationship with the Father. Say, you identify as a Christian i.e one who is Christ -like. That means you supposedly lay claim to having a relationship with God abi? And you don't hear Him? How? Believer, you're supposed to talk to Him about everything! Hear His opinion about everything! Follow His leading about everything! I said everything. It's what the Word says! "For as many as are led by the spirit of God, they're the sons of God..." The true children of God are those who let God’s Spirit lead them.  Romans 8:1

It's My purpose finding TAILOR MADE expression in and through you." ----------------------- Every single inch of you is about Abba's purpose: career, profession, job, church work, the 'almighty' Relationship/marriage. Your friendships, your family, everything! Every fibre; every atom of your being, is about Kingdom Purpose! Abba and the Kingdom take priority. It's like a military assignment. Every thing else is secondary and should be geared towards that assignment. See those your desires? Some are selfish, submit them to the scrutiny of Kingdom Purpose. That's why you have to know this purpose well, be grounded in the clarity of it. Measure every step, every movement, every decision against the yardstick of Kingd

Four Practical Ways to Manage Overwhelming Tasks. How do you manage overwhelming tasks? There are periods in your life when it seems you have so many things to do all at once. These could be as a result of circumstances beyond your control or your poor time management (we'll talk about this soon). You have a lot on your table and seem to be making no headway. Some are deadlines just round the corner yet you've got no feasible action plan. It seems you're gonna crash soon yeah? Hold on, I've got some tips for you. They've helped me greatly and I'm sure they'll help you too! SLEEP One major sign of being overwhelmed for me is a headache (and sometimes the beginnings of a fever or sickly feeling) I shutdown and sleep in to cure this. Drinking lots of water is a plus. You should try this! WRITING LISTS Writing out lists helps me to think and organise. I see this as the most proactive physical action I can take to strategize my next moves. Say I have 3 to 4 tasks

Well, I'm tempted to say "however you choose to see it" but I believe we've been specially chosen and called into a global ministry. What ever you do should have a global impact on some scale You're chosen! You're chosen! You're chosen to minister to nations! That's not a mediocre call! You're called to stand before kings and not mere men You're called to speak to royalty and answer kingdoms You're called for global and international exploits! You are not a local champion! Expand the scale of your thinking Enlarge the realm of your thoughts See yourself operating on a not-small-at-all pedestal! You're called to mighty and glorious things! Oh Nations!
