WHAT WOULD A GIRL WANT...?

She said she wanted me to write for her and I wondered;
What would a girl want me to write about?
About Love?
Which is a common theme but an uncommon thing?
About Beauty?
Which is in everything, even the ugly?
About Life?
Which is full of so much and nothing (without Jesus)?
Or about Pain?
Which is in all life, brings it and kills it?
Or about Peace?
Which is an illusion without chaos or unrest or storms?
Or about Hate?
Which seems far from my mind but is always at its periphery?
Maybe about Hope?
Which keeps us going only if we keep going...
Maybe about Faith?
Which we all have but are not always sure we have...
Maybe about Disappointments?
Which will always plague, but shouldn't discourage the expectant...
Perhaps about Hardship? Sorrow? Poverty? Lack? Death? And so many more which seem to make life unbearable but add to its meaning...?
Perhaps about Riches? Wealth? Friends? Success? Happiness? Which are but a few of life's numerous fairer themes but come with their own dark side...?

There's so much there is to write about which I can't begin to fathom...

What would a girl want me to write about?

Romance! Girls love romantic stories! Tall order! See you some other time...

The Client

The client in question wanted a proposal for a Noodle factory. We'd earlier gone to take measurements of the site and presented him a sketchy proposal after which he asked for more proposals and research and gave some money for it. He said he'd be travelling to China around 20 something of this month so we were supposed to give him feedback before then. This led us to a race to beat time last week. As of Thursday we still had nothing on ground and were sweating our heads out to present something before the week ran out. Finally we put something together Friday evening. It was pretty past our working hours that my colleague's husband drove us to our client's office. Lo and behold, it was closed. I was silently praying that he wouldn't be cross with us whenever we finally got hold of him because of the slight delay. SOLDIER BOY 2

And yes, your guess was close, he asked for my number quite alright, no, not a kiss (eeeuwww), he implied a future that involved a ring and making babies too(Lols!) but his condition for letting go of my hand was indeed preposterous: I'll come hang out with him at his flat somewhere around Zango later in the evening, shey I can cook?
