CHEERS TO THE RICHLY DIVERSE LIFE!

The past one month has been like many lifetimes compressed into one and things just got started! I could cry that it's overwhelming but I know it's where I'm meant to be.

Many pieces are still coming together but the landscape is positively beyond promising; the fruit of contentment just within reach. Yesterday's version of me would have been a bit doubtful if it can get bigger or more different than this but today's version has got an inkling of the idea that this is just the tip of the iceberg.

There's so much more!
This vast and diverse life Abba has gifted, I'll drink of it fully.

To think that I once lived under the illusion that my entire being was tied to a person, place, profession …. mundane things! Now, I've chosen to be tied to purpose alone! Bold claim, yeah?

Thank God for heart shattering encounters that break you, stretch you, make you pliable for God's purpose.

It'll be wise to issue a disclaimer to my heart and my audience that I haven't got it all figured out. How could I even?

Nevertheless, looking back, looking at now, looking ahead, my heart swells with the realization that: life as I once believed it was just a drop in the ocean; life as I see it now is a kaleidoscope of many, many things and life as I may believe it to be, years from now will be a more refined version, consistent in certain details; richly diverse and yet mind-blowingly unique.


Here's to more of this richly diverse life! No backing down on purpose. We'll deliver it beautifully and excellently

The Client

The client in question wanted a proposal for a Noodle factory. We'd earlier gone to take measurements of the site and presented him a sketchy proposal after which he asked for more proposals and research and gave some money for it. He said he'd be travelling to China around 20 something of this month so we were supposed to give him feedback before then. This led us to a race to beat time last week. As of Thursday we still had nothing on ground and were sweating our heads out to present something before the week ran out. Finally we put something together Friday evening. It was pretty past our working hours that my colleague's husband drove us to our client's office. Lo and behold, it was closed. I was silently praying that he wouldn't be cross with us whenever we finally got hold of him because of the slight delay. SOLDIER BOY 2

And yes, your guess was close, he asked for my number quite alright, no, not a kiss (eeeuwww), he implied a future that involved a ring and making babies too(Lols!) but his condition for letting go of my hand was indeed preposterous: I'll come hang out with him at his flat somewhere around Zango later in the evening, shey I can cook?
