Many words can be said
Many other gestures made
One could sing a song
Another may
tell a story

to dance
All I choose to do
Is smile

The Client

The client in question wanted a proposal for a Noodle factory. We'd earlier gone to take measurements of the site and presented him a sketchy proposal after which he asked for more proposals and research and gave some money for it. He said he'd be travelling to China around 20 something of this month so we were supposed to give him feedback before then. This led us to a race to beat time last week. As of Thursday we still had nothing on ground and were sweating our heads out to present something before the week ran out. Finally we put something together Friday evening. It was pretty past our working hours that my colleague's husband drove us to our client's office. Lo and behold, it was closed. I was silently praying that he wouldn't be cross with us whenever we finally got hold of him because of the slight delay. CONDENSED MILK

The other day I was debating within myself whether I should go and buy a tin of evaporated milk since I felt like taking some then I recalled another version of it that was called Condensed Milk. I don't know if they  still sell it but it used to come in this cute little tin and was very sweet plus was it milk so I liked it. I can't remember how I got to take it for the first time or whether I really got to ever enjoy one to myself, (I don't think I ever did though) but I remember I got close to it once, real close! However, thanks to my big, all knowing, 'over sabi' sisters, they spoilt that chance. There was this aunty staying in our house, she was a youth corp member and somehow she and my sisters had become quite good friends while we were still living in the semidetached two-storey building somewhere along the road further down this street.
